Ashley and Janelle Hart are sisters from New Hampshire, where they binge-watch TV shows, trade books, and plan their next trip. Their experiences in the dating scene have included some awkward situations, a few disastrous evenings, and one or two heartbreaks. Nevertheless, they remained optimistic and wrote a novel to capture the full range of romantic relationships.

Working with instructors from Boston's Grub Street writing center and attending writers conferences in New York City, they perfected their craft. Ashley excelled at plot and character development while Janelle focused on the prose and emotional impact of each scene. The manuscript for 'Boyfriend Investigations' was soon completed.

They dream their novel will be adapted into a television show. In the meantime, the sisters are writing the next book in the series.
